2019-06-27 Roguelike Milestone Announcement

I did some work on the Roguelike. I have a door, that can be opened or kicked down. I also have a Story, which is very simple right now, but defines how many dungeon levels exist and how large they are. In consiquence, I needed stairs. In the future, there will be more and more sophisticated Stories. Right now, the Story influences the creation of the level - in the future, the Story will give orders to a MapBuilder.

2019-04-14 Roguelike Milestone Announcement

My roguelike is turning into a game! It’s possible to collect gold coins, and I can distinguish between natural cave walls and floors and artifical walls and floors of cities or ruins.

2019-04-07 Roguelike Development Update

I made some progress on the positioning of the map, which will be more obvious once the maps get larger than the available space. I also fixed a bug in the algorithm that determines visibility of wall tiles, so I soon can start to work on the actual content, but before that I will make the tile size adjustable.

2019-03-28 Aitazan, the Roguelike

To put some pressure on me, I herewith announce the development of Aitazan, a roguelike game, that I plan to do for a while now.


Here I am presenting some mostly random stuff I do while being creative.
